Overview

BortoCall builds sovereign, highly secure enterprise communication infrastructure. We help public and private organizations control messaging, voice calls, and large-scale video conferencing on their own servers or private cloud. To guide the roadmap for our web, desktop, iOS, and Android apps, we are looking for a Product Owner. Reporting to the Head of Product / CPO, you will turn security, sovereignty, and communication requirements into useful, smooth, high-value product features.

What you will do

  • Backlog management & prioritization: create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog while balancing user needs, infrastructure security constraints, and business priorities.
  • Specification writing: define features through clear user stories, including media, VoIP/WebRTC, encryption rules, and rigorous acceptance criteria.
  • Agile delivery: lead Scrum/Kanban ceremonies with Engineering teams across mobile, web, backend, and security.
  • Acceptance & compliance: validate delivered features before release and protect quality, UX, and UI standards.
  • Product discovery & analysis: collect enterprise and institutional customer feedback, track usage metrics, and monitor unified communication and cybersecurity trends.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally on complex SaaS, enterprise, communication, cybersecurity, or network products.
  • Strong command of Agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Fluent use of product and backlog tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, and Notion.
  • Good understanding of key technical concepts such as APIs, WebSockets, WebRTC, encryption, and on-premise versus cloud deployment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, with fluency in French and English for technical documentation and international exchanges.
  • Rigor, analytical thinking, synthesis skills, pragmatism, and the ability to balance technical constraints with business value.
