Overview
SlickPay is a leading fintech company in Algeria that simplifies and secures everyday transactions. To support rapid growth, protect financial accuracy, and manage cash flows, we are looking for a Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Finance team, you will manage general and analytical accounting, treasury tracking, tax and social declarations, and reconciliation controls for payment operations.
What you will do
- General accounting: record, verify, and close accounting entries in line with Algerian accounting standards.
- Treasury & reconciliation: track banking flows and reconcile merchant transactions, fees, and settlements.
- Tax & social compliance: prepare and monitor tax and social declarations while meeting legal deadlines.
- Reporting & controls: produce financial statements, dashboards, and variance analyses for management.
- Audit support: prepare documents for internal and external audits and help strengthen accounting processes.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of successful experience in corporate finance/accounting or an accounting firm, ideally in banking, finance, fintech, or services.
- Degree in accounting, finance, audit, or management control.
- Excellent command of Algerian accounting and tax regulations, including SCF.
- Professional experience with accounting or ERP tools such as PC Comptabilite, Sage, Odoo, or similar software.
- Excellent command of Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
- High rigor, attention to detail, integrity, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage deadlines independently.
