Overview

SlickPay is a leading fintech company in Algeria that simplifies and secures everyday transactions. To support rapid growth, structure operations, and turn strategy into reliable execution, we are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO). Reporting directly to the executive team, you will act as a strategic right hand, leading operations, securing expansion, and aligning teams around operational excellence.

What you will do

  • Operations & scaling: structure and optimize workflows, financial flows, and supply chain processes to support fast-growing transaction volumes.
  • Risk & compliance: ensure strict compliance with financial and banking regulations, and lead risk and compliance management.
  • Operational efficiency: deploy KPIs and continuous improvement methods such as Lean and Agile to protect service quality.
  • Management & alignment: lead cross-functional teams across operations, support, and legal, and align the operations roadmap with tech and product strategy.

Requirements

  • Executive or senior leadership background, with at least 7 years of experience in banking, fintech, or payment institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulatory issues, complex project management, and multidisciplinary team leadership.
  • Command of modern management and project tools such as ERP, CRM, Jira, Notion, and Slack.
  • Charismatic leadership, analytical rigor, strong decision-making under pressure, and a results-oriented mindset.
